The logistics project manager’s job directly contributes to the company’s objective of creating and delivering clean power plants that will enable the globe to run entirely on renewable energy. From start to finish, you will direct, plan, and supervise supply chain and logistics projects in your role as logistics project manager. Streamlining operations, leading cross-functional teams, and guaranteeing on-time delivery of goods while maximizing efficiency and cost are all part of this role.
Overseeing the entire process for ongoing logistics projects is part of your job as the logistics project manager. This entails overseeing contractors, managing budgets and expenses, securing permissions, planning routes, managing tool returns for transportation, organizing deliveries to the project site, and assisting with vessel operations.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years) required
- 3+ years’ experience in transportation planning/project cargo required
- Ability to read and understand scopes of work and MSA contracts
- Knowledge of import/export regulations for different countries and compliances
- Experience working with cost models and/or performing cost analysis
- Excellent Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Strong process and data analysis focus
- Demonstrated understanding of international and domestic transportation documentation requirements
