Position Overview
Job Title: HGV Driver
Location: Paris, France
Reporting To: Transport Manager
Main Duties
- Safely collect and deliver goods based on scheduled routes and timelines
- Maintain clear communication with the operations team throughout the day
- Complete necessary documentation—both paper and digital—with accuracy
- Make updates to delivery records if job details change during the route
- Provide a high standard of customer service and represent the company professionally
- Follow uniform and behavior standards at all times
- Drive assigned routes and report any deviations promptly
- Load and unload delivery vehicles; inspect vehicles before use
- Coordinate with multiple clients and suppliers on domestic and cross-border trips
- Ensure warehouse and transport documents are correctly filled
- Perform basic administrative tasks daily
- Adhere to tachograph and other legal driving requirements
- Support the team with other duties as needed
Ideal Candidate
Must-Have Qualifications
- Valid and clean articulated driving license
- Digital Tachograph card
- CPC card (including recent refresher training)
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics or transport sector
- Familiarity with handling high-value or sensitive deliveries
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and handle time-sensitive tasks
- Competent using digital devices and basic transport systems
Nice to Have
- Road Transport Operator’s License
