- To join our team, we are seeking a Commercial Manager. Together with the partnerships team, they will market MSC seafood products and assist our Italian partner firms.
- One of the MSC’s most buoyant and active regions is Italy. As a result, as part of the MSC certification program, our Commercial Manager will play a crucial strategic role in promoting sustainable solutions and products with the MSC eco-label.
Dynamic team
We are a dynamic team, and we have the ambition to increase the availability of certified sustainable seafood products and the number of Italian fisheries that meet our sustainability criteria.
You will be responsible
You will be responsible for key accounts, participate in multiple projects, build trust with our partners, and work closely with Fisheries and Communication colleagues of the Italian team, as well as with other MSC teams within our global network.
You will play a key role in contributing to the strategy of the commercial team and its activities in the Italian market.
We are looking for someone who:
- will be able to develop relationships with our MSC-certified supply chain partners (suppliers, distributors, etc.) and deliver positive and detail-oriented numerical results
- is passionate about sustainable development and is interested in the health of our oceans globally
- has strong interpersonal skills.
- native speaker of Italian and fluent in writing and speaking English.
Note that weekend work and regular domestic and occasional international travel may be required.

The remaining time can be worked from home. During the onboarding process, hybrid work may require more in-office work than remote work.

Over 700 fisheries around the world, representing 19% of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC program and MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 66 countries. Through partnerships and collective endeavor, we are on a mission to end overfishing.
