The Opportunity: Manager – Valuations (Madrid or Barcelona)
We’re currently hiring a Manager to join our Valuations team in either Madrid or Barcelona. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects across Spain and Europe — and build your career in a collaborative, international environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Valuations Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality insights and advice to our clients. You’ll work across a range of sectors and service lines — gaining exposure to a wide variety of complex business scenarios.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Leading and supporting valuation engagements across different industries
- Applying a range of valuation methods to provide robust, insightful analysis
- Collaborating with colleagues in Restructuring, Debt Advisory, and Transactions Advisory, both locally and internationally
- Drafting impactful reports and participating in client presentations
- Working closely with our senior leadership team in Spain
- Representing Interpath at client events and industry gatherings
Types of Projects You’ll Work On
You’ll be involved in a wide range of valuation assignments, such as:
- Business, equity, and intangible asset valuations
- M&A-related valuations and fairness opinions
- Purchase Price Allocations (PPAs) and impairment testing for financial reporting
- Valuations in restructuring and turnaround situations
- Tax, legal, and dispute-related valuations
- Private equity portfolio valuations
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who brings both expertise and energy to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid experience in valuations and financial modelling, ideally from a Big 4, investment bank, or boutique valuation firm
- Strong knowledge of valuation techniques and financial analysis
- A strong academic record and analytical mindset
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent Spanish and English (other European languages are a bonus)
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and great communication skills
