Our Identity

United Masters is creating a marketplace that links fans, companies, and artists, enabling artists to make money and advance their careers. By allowing up-and-coming artists to distribute their music directly to fans through streaming services while keeping ownership of their master recording rights and up to 100% of royalties, United Masters has taken the risky step of creating a music distribution service that, radically, puts artists first. This is upending the established music industry. Independent musicians and change-makers may grow and make money unlike any other platform thanks to United Masters’ music distribution platform and strong brand relationships.

With experience from YouTube, SoundCloud, Pandora, Facebook, Uber, Dropbox, Complex, VICE, and other platforms, the United Masters team consists of artists, marketers, engineers, and storytellers. At Translation (our in-house creative advertising agency), we collaborate closely with the award-winning creative teams that create such creative alliances.

Fueling the Nation’s Kitchens and Dining Experiences

In every corner of the U.S.—from the kitchens of high-end restaurants in New York to the food trucks of Austin—skilled chefs and dedicated hospitality staff are at the heart of the American dining experience. They don’t just serve food; they create culture, deliver comfort, and build connections.

The Growing Need for Talent

The hospitality industry is booming, but it’s facing a major challenge: not enough skilled workers. After the pandemic, many left the industry, leaving restaurants, hotels, and catering companies urgently looking to hire talented professionals who are passionate and reliable.

Businesses are raising wages, offering better benefits, and rethinking their work environments to attract and retain top talent. Still, the gap is wide—and opportunity is knocking for those ready to jump in.

New Expectations, New Skills

Today’s chefs are more than cooks. They’re creators, leaders, and problem-solvers. With growing interest in plant-based diets, global cuisines, and sustainable sourcing, chefs need to be innovative and adaptable.

At the same time, hospitality staff—from servers to kitchen assistants—are expected to offer exceptional service while managing fast-paced and high-pressure environments. It’s a field where people skills and professionalism are just as important as cooking techniques.

From Entry-Level to Executive Chef

One of the unique aspects of this industry is how far hard work can take you. Many top chefs started washing dishes or prepping vegetables. With time, training, and drive, they moved up the ranks. Career paths in hospitality are rarely linear, but they reward passion and persistence. Training programs, culinary schools, and certifications can help fast-track success. So can mentorship, hands-on learning, and the right work ethic. The long hours and physical demands of kitchen work take a toll. Burnout is common. That’s why businesses are shifting their focus to work-life balance, fair scheduling, and mental health support. Workplace culture matters. Staff stay longer where they feel respected, supported, and heard. As a result, many companies are investing in better leadership training and inclusive work environments.

Where the Jobs Are

Major cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles remain culinary hotspots. But opportunity is growing in smaller cities too. Places like Nashville, Denver, and Raleigh are gaining national attention for their food scenes and offer lower competition for rising chefs.

There’s also a growing demand in luxury homes, yachts, and private events—especially for personal chefs and specialized staff.

A World of Opportunity

Skilled hospitality workers are needed in hotels, cruise ships, private estates, healthcare facilities, corporate campuses, and more. Some chefs work with professional athletes. Others cook for celebrities. And many cater to the growing market of wellness-focused clients.

This isn’t just a job—it’s a lifestyle. And it can open doors to travel, culture, and unforgettable experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in music, consulting, tech, or operating roles in high-growth startup companies
  • Briefing, guiding and coaching executives and senior leaders
  • Managing high-priority projects with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Developing and managing organizational systems, processes and playbooks
  • Communicating and customizing messaging to various audiences
  • Synthesizing and presenting data and content in well organized documents and decks, especially for executive audiences and the Board of Directors
