Are you who we’re looking for?
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager or similar leadership role in an FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of production management, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Results-driven, with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and under pressure.
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
What is the typical day like?
- Coordinating all aspects of production, such as planning, scheduling, and execution, in order to fulfill delivery dates and production goals.
- Directing quality control procedures to guarantee product uniformity and adherence to industry norms.
- Directing a group of employees and production supervisors while encouraging a culture of ongoing development and progress.
- Keeping an eye on production KPIs, promoting performance enhancements, and putting cost-cutting measures into action.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and establishing a secure workplace for each and every worker.
- Coordinating with engineering, procurement, and supply chain departments to optimize resource allocation and production processes.
- Recognizing and putting into practice lean manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and streamline processes.
